Though they will charge a some bucks for it, but as far as the security of the phone is concerned, it hardly matters, especially for the Higher End Phones.
Usually, the phone branded with Nokia comes with a 1 year warranty offered by the company. But now, as an initiative, the company is offering a 1 year additional warranty against some Rupees(If you live in India).
Now for all the people who have thier nokia phones within warranty can extend thier warranty by paying an applicable amount and registering your nokia phone at the nokia care center, for one more extra year after the initial warranty is expired.
